Since its inception in 1984, Babe Ruth Softball has grown tremendously to become a premier softball program throughout the United States and Canada-and is also the fastest growing division in Babe Ruth League, Inc.

ABOUT BABE RUTH SOFTBALL
A Division of Babe Ruth League, Inc.
A highlight of Babe Ruth Softball is its annual tournament trail. Tournament teams from each local league are eligible to participate in District competition with winners advancing to the State and Regional levels. In 1999, Babe Ruth Softball debuted its first 12U World Series and 16U World Series. Eight regional champions from across the United States and Canada compete in each World Series.

Babe Ruth League, Inc. is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to serving all youth, both boys and girls. Since its inception in 1984, Babe Ruth Softball has shown tremendous growth. It has become a premier softball program throughout the United States and Canada.
World Series
In 2015, the World Series was expanded to the 8U, 10U and 14U age levels, and the 18U age level was added in 2016. Teams will either earn a berth to the series in these age groups by being a Regional Champion or they will be winners of a National Qualifier that is hosted by the state they reside in. The World Series format begins with pool play competition, followed by either a single or double elimination bracket to determine the World Series Champion.
